Yoga Nidra

The ancient practice of yoga nidra is said to be the doorway to samadhi - the experience of oneness with the universe.

As a form of guided meditation, it is practiced lying on the back in savasana, where the mind is then lead into the deeper recesses of the mind, allowing the subconscious and unconscious states of mind to be brought forward and allowing you to be invited to meet the essential nature of who you really are.

Staying awake during these different states while the body is relaxed invites one to experience deeply all that is and allows for true relaxation and healing to occur.

Each class will allow practitioners to experience up to a full hour yoga nidra practice and a seated meditation.

Every 1 hour of yoga nidra = 4 hours of sleep.
